Leckeres Essen und Neus Freunden

Germany is really cool, guys! Right now, it's cold, cloudy, and wet, but still pretty neat!

Paige and I took the bus to the art museum, Kunsthalle Mannheim, on Friday morning. I loved that there was modern art in addition to old art. It was awesome!

This was a cool, interactive simulator that froze our silhouettes in a different color every time we did a different pose!

There was a table with a screen that had many sensitive drawings and pictures. I think I could've just stayed at this spot all day because new pictures kept on coming through. They were so interesting!

¡Una vaca! (I learned from Paige that I can put captions on pictures. Ha!)

I love this painting especially! It's so beautiful, calm, and realistic. It felt as if I was in the sea with the sun shining down on me.

This was an interesting structure made up of hospital beds and violins. Usually, you think of violins as beautiful because they make beautiful sounds, right? Well, not in this case. When someone walked by, the violins automatically played all four strings, creating an eerie noise.

After the museum, we walked through a cool garden that surrounded the water tower, or Wasserstrom. Paige pointed out that Poseidon, the Greek god of water, is standing at the top! That is so cool!
I love the hints of red around the garden from the trees and flowers! There are also hints of sea green from the rust of many lamp posts and gates. It looks so cool!

That night, we went to a Celtic All Saints' Day party with some international and German students from Paige's university. It was a lot of fun!

Roasted veggies and meatloaf. Oh. My. Gosh. So delicious. Lecker. I learned that's how to say delicious in German.

Hey, Amelia! We had some awesome homemade bread, but we miss your bread! And you!

An artsy, black-and-white candid shot.

After talking about swing-dancing, we decided to try it! We had two great teachers.

Sasha was my fantastic dance partner. She is from Russia and she has been dancing since she was four! She is very kind and fun!

This day was wonderful! It was cool that Paige and I got to meet some new friends and laugh together. I am so thankful for this day to spend time with my friends, new and old.
