El Mercado y Flamenco

This morning, my roommates, Gleida and Mariliana, and I went to a flea market that was within walking distance. We took pictures along the way. The weather was amazing! The sun was shining and there was a nice breeze.
I bought a nice umbrella for 8 euros and a cute and dressy blue shirt for 11 euros. Super cheap!

After the market, we went to a nearby supermarket for water and snacks. I've been wanting to get snacks because I'm not used to the meal schedule. We eat a really small breakfast at 8:30, a big lunch at 1:30, and a light dinner at 8:30. I'd find myself in class hearing my stomach that it is so hungry! I got some oatmeal cookies, granola bars, and fig cookies.

We ate a delicious lunch, then I took a nap and did some homework. We got dinner and then came the thing I had been dreading all day: Flamenco class. I'm not sure why I signed up for this. I think it was because of peer pressure. Almost everyone else signed up for it.

The instructor was so sweet and awesome, but I just can't dance. I would need one-on-one time and hours and hours to understand the basics. It was so hard! The best part was just watching her dance. It was super cool! Flamenco is so neat! If you don't know what it is, go look it up on Youtube! It's so beautiful. We did a version from Seville.

I'm thinking about just not going to the last Flamenco class tonight. I wouldn't get better anyway.   For now, I have to go to Phonetics class!

 Kthnxbai!
